WOW, going on Forty-two years old, dual degrees in Industrial Design, working in Rapid Prototyping and almost certifiably crazy for electronic gear. Gear lust BAD. Other than my automotive hobbies, making music and / or noise has always been of great interest to me. It all started when I was shown a picture of Keith Emerson's gigantic Moog modular synth, I had to know what that thing was, what it did, and how would I ever get one.
Playing bass in my High School Band, ABG (Aunt Bertha's Garden), transitioned to constructing a studio space in my first home purchase. That space has grown to house a great deal of gear, the result of the afore mentioned affliction. I really enjoy the tech aspects of programming patches, sequences and creating sounds by interconnecting various gear to one another or other(s). Circuit bending was a natural progression of my professional career as I was already disassembling products to see how they were manufactured, why not mess with the guts too.
"A man has got to know his limitations", in the words of Clint, I know mine and electronics DIY is not my cup of tea. My Father is an EE and I have no clue on that stuff, so I must resort to paying others to bring my ideas to reality. I would like to Thank Tablebeast, Slapstix, 3xfx, and Diabolical Devices for all of their contributions to my bent gear collection.
I hope you like my music, please comment on what you felt when you listened to it.
